Get ready to explore the world of electronic circuits and block coding with the EV Micro-Kart, a miniature go kart that serves as a great example of engaging, hands-on, project-based learning for both students and teachers alike. Using a micro:bit microcontroller, a breadboard, and various circuit components, participants will have the opportunity to work with the “guts” of a Micro-Kart, learning how to wire and program the own functioning headlights, taillights, and a variable-speed motor system along the way. If you are able, please bring your own laptop (with internet access capability and a USB Type-A port) to this workshop.
