Prep Anywhere, Teach Everywhere with BenQ EZWrite

Great lessons don’t always start in front of a classroom—they often begin on a couch, in a café, or during a few quiet minutes between meetings. In this hands-on session, Shanna Meyer and Josie Cheney, instructional leaders and teaching partners from West Ottawa Public Schools, will guide participants through how BenQ’s EZWrite ecosystem empowers teachers to prepare lessons offline and then seamlessly bring them to life on the BenQ Board. Attendees will explore how EZWrite allows educators to create, organize, and edit lesson content from virtually anywhere using their laptop or tablet. Shanna and Josie will walk through real examples of how they prep whiteboard pages offline, layer in images and multimedia, build bell ringer templates, and structure activities long before stepping into the classroom. Whether teachers build resources in Canva, Google Drive, OneDrive, PDFs, or slide decks, EZWrite provides an effortless bridge between prep time and presentation time. When it’s time to teach, participants will experience how these prepared materials slide directly into EZWrite’s dynamic whiteboarding environment on the BenQ Board. Try hands-on how to open, adapt, and enhance imported content—turning static slides into interactive elements like sorting tasks, annotation layers, discussion prompts, manipulatives, and more. Shanna and Josie will share the tricks they use to turn prepped content into engaging moments for real classroom scenarios.
