Don’t push play and walk away. When showing a video to the class, students can get distracted, have difficulty hearing or seeing, or may be absent from class. We can rewind videos at home; why can’t students at school? Edpuzzle meets these challenges and allows personalized learning and engagement for all students. Videos can be differentiated, accommodations can be embedded, and students can leverage technology to take an active role achieving and demonstrating competency. Edpuzzle encourages engagement and accountability so students can work at their own pace while providing teachers with feedback on students’ understanding of the content and opportunities to meet the diverse needs of all students. Students get immediate feedback to monitor their understanding of the material. You can even gamify with Edpuzzle! We will also take a look at Edpuzzle Originals--videos created by Edpuzzle ready for classroom use.
