Poster 9: MOOVing to Redefine School Attendance

January 13, 2026
EXPO: CENTER COURT: POSTERS
School Leaders
Using the MOOV app, our school has redefined what school attendance looks like. Gone are the days in which teachers take attendance, and instead, our students are responsible to check into class and are accountable for moving about the building in a manner which respects their needs and provides efficiency for all. The MOOV app provides real-time data on student whereabouts, accessible to teachers for attendance verification and to administrators for monitoring student movement. The app also provides real-time tracking and is crucial for emergency situations, managing student behavior (e.g., excessive absences), and ensuring students are in their assigned locations. This system promotes accountability, engagement, and student success in a digital learning environment.
