Persistent literacy gaps threaten the academic success of millions of students—especially students with disabilities, multilingual learners (MLLs), and historically underserved students in Title I schools. We know these gaps don’t end in elementary school; they often widen in middle and high school – but what can we do to combat the longstanding norm of students feeling disengaged and underprepared? This session explores how AI-powered EdTech tools and frameworks can play a meaningful role in closing these gaps across K–12.
