Leveling Up Without Burning Out: Empowering High School eSports Through Valor

January 12, 2026
EXPO: ESPORTS THEATER: BOOTH #1042
Esports Leaders
Running a high school eSports program can feel like juggling five games at once—because it often is. With limited practice time and a wide range of student skill levels, how can coaches ensure meaningful growth without burning out or needing expert-level knowledge of every title? In this session, discover how one high school program uses Valor eSports, a web-based training platform, to solve exactly that challenge. You’ll learn how Valor helps students break down game-specific mechanics, strategies, and skills in titles like Fortnite, Valorant, and others—allowing them to train at their own pace while coaches focus on team dynamics, culture, and competition readiness. This feedback loop has saved my program and my sanity.
