The Jedi’s Guide to Responsible AI Leadership

January 13, 2026
W340A
District Leaders
Lead like a Jedi by empowering educators to harness the power of AI while avoiding the dark side of bias, misuse, and the pitfalls of automation. This interactive session blends live demos, leadership strategies, and ethical reflection, guiding leaders to adopt AI as a co-pilot. Using a quadrant framework, participants will analyze real scenarios to distinguish between transformative and problematic uses of AI in schools. They’ll explore how to generate clear guidelines for responsible AI implementation and leave with tools to launch their own district-level plans. Built for school leaders and PD providers, this session emphasizes responsible innovation and the need to protect student privacy and agency. Grounded in leadership standards and real classroom examples, this experience will prepare participants to confidently lead conversations about AI’s role in their systems and ensure no one walks the path alone.
