Poster 15: Integrating AI Literacy into ELA Curriculum

In this session, participants will learn how to leverage research backed teaching methods towards integrating AI literacy and fluency in parallel with ELA literacy. I will discuss the necessity of a change of mindset and adoption of uncheatable assessments to address the shifting nature of what is asked of 9-12 level instruction by using state standards, existing district approved curriculum, and novel AI technologies to increase AI literacy and fluency using British literature to extend knowledge and skills relevant for future success after graduation.
