Poster 2: From Inspiration to Implementation: How We Built an AI Teacher Leader Districtwide Program

Launching an AI Teacher Leader program in a school district sounds ambitious—and it is. But it’s also necessary. In this session, three Digital Learning Specialists from Martin County School District (FL) share the behind-the-scenes story of how we designed, launched, and evolved a districtwide initiative to empower teacher leaders in the age of AI. We’ll unpack the full journey: from finding our “why” and defining AI literacy goals, to recruiting volunteers, navigating shifting platforms and district policies, and rethinking what teacher leadership looks like in a rapidly changing tech landscape.
