AI Symposium: From Conversation to Statewide Impact

January 14, 2026
W224 D
Classroom Leaders
What does it take to move AI from curiosity to coordinated action across an entire state?

This symposium shares the story behind three years of designing and leading statewide AI summits that bring educators, system leaders, policymakers, and partners together around a shared vision for AI in education. Panelists will reflect on why these summits were created, how they were scaled across multiple states, and what has been learned along the way—about leadership, trust-building, readiness, and real classroom impact.

This session goes beyond tools and trends to highlight the conditions required for responsible, human-centered AI adoption at scale. Attendees will gain insight into the strategies, missteps, and breakthroughs that have shaped these statewide efforts—and leave with ideas for how to turn AI conversations into sustainable, system-level progress.
