In partnership with CYBER.ORG, the Cybersecurity Training will be held on Sunday, January 11 from 12:00 pm  -3:00 pm.  Join us for hands on cybersecurity using the free CYBER.ORG Range and free CYBER.ORG curriculum. We will explore various network attacks and methods used to mitigate these attacks. Participants will receive an introduction to the Linux operating system, explore various tools used by security researchers, and step through several network attacks against a target system on the cyber range. Intended to be used in a cybersecurity classroom environment, this content is geared towards high school teachers teaching cybersecurity as a stand-alone course or part of a technology or computer science course. US teachers will gain free access to the curriculum from CYBER.ORG to use in their classrooms and walk away having been part of cybersecurity lessons able to be taught across a range of grade levels.  BYOD. * Participation is included in the Session Pass Conference Registration.
