In partnership with CYBER.ORG, the Cybersecurity Training will be held on Sunday, January 11 from 8:00am -11:00 am.  Join us as we dive into the grant funded Cybersecurity Basics course content from CYBER.ORG. Together we will learn how to teach the concepts behind cybersecurity to students across grade levels. Cybersecurity can be taught at any grade level and the foundation starts with kindergarten. We begin with grade-appropriate understandings of digital safety and citizenship and move into concepts such as types of malware and more. Cybersecurity includes daily life skills that are needed by everyone included our young students who are using digital devices. Come with us as we join the important field of cybersecurity and prepare learners to be part of the cyber literate workforce of tomorrow! US teachers will gain free access to the curriculum from CYBER.ORG to use in their classrooms and walk away having been part of cybersecurity lessons able to be taught across a range of grade levels.  BYOD.* Participation is included in the Session Pass Conference Registration.
