Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for a rollercoaster ride of discovery, innovation, and uncharted territory on "Code Island Challenge"! In this simulated reality show everyday people are about to dive headfirst into the exhilarating world of coding and robotics. Imagine being stranded on a mysterious, deserted island—but with a twist—this is Code Island, a place where contestants who have never written a single line of code before will take on the challenge of a lifetime. They''re not just navigating the physical landscape; they''re diving into the digital realm to program robots to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. But it''s not just about the code. To win the Code Island Challenge, contestants must show mastery of other skills. They will need to understand the topography and biomes of the island. They will need to study what past explorers have learned about the best ways to explore new territory. They will need to understand the geometry concepts in order to code their robots as to where to explore. Lastly, they will need to have great storytelling skills in order to convince the judges why their robot was the best explorer. Come join us on this cross-curricular coding experience!
