AI isn’t here to replace your expertise. It’s here to give you superpowers so you can focus on what matters: good teaching. In this session, I’ll share how we're using generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini as co-designers in the curriculum development process. This isn’t a sci-fi pitch. It’s a field-tested workflow I’ve used across K–12, higher education, and distance learning programs to move faster and build smarter. We’ll examine how AI can assist in generating scaffolds, aligning with standards, creating draft materials, and even refining assessments, all while maintaining a focus on purpose, context, and pedagogy. You won’t get a list of magic prompts. You’ll get a practical, repeatable framework for collaborating with AI without compromising quality. Whether you're building a unit from scratch or revising a lesson that’s almost there, this is about working with AI, not around it. Walk away with usable strategies, a few aha moments, and a better way to design with intention, even when time is tight.
