Now that you have some experience with artificial intelligence, you are looking to level up your skills and strategies. This session is designed to support an increased level of digital fluency and literacy as we explore the use of large language models, along with several other AI-powered platforms. In this intermediate/advanced session, we''ll explore linguistics and communication strategies through hands-on activities using a variety of platforms including LLMs and chatbots. We will go through the process of designing your own chatbot, which is a more sustainable approach than using predesigned chatbots. We''ll also discuss practical and ethical ways to incorporate them into your workflows as well as teaching and learning. This workshop is designed for the educator who has experience with AI platforms and is looking to level up their skills and understanding.
