Inclusion Leaders
In this paradigm-shifting session, we explore how artificial intelligence can fundamentally reshape educational experiences for neurodiverse learners when guided by the social model of disability. We will discuss how designing from the margins—with accessibility and inclusion as foundational principles—creates learning environments where all students thrive. Through use case scenarios and interactive demonstrations, participants will discover how SchoolAI features and tools can be leveraged to create adaptive learning experiences that are accessible to all learners. We'll examine how thoughtfully implemented AI supports can validate diverse thinking patterns, reduce the emotional labor of "masking," and foster genuine self-advocacy. Particular attention will be given to how these technologies can strengthen students' concepts of truth and social-emotional confidence. By reimagining curriculum design through the lens of neurodiversity, educators can create spaces where differences are recognized as valuable variations of human experience. Join us to explore practical, ethical implementations of AI that honor the full humanity of every learner while building truly inclusive educational communities.
