In this session, we will unpack several social media genres that trend across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more. We will explore the language patterns and unique language demands that are associated with each genre. Together, we will identify entry points into leveraging these genres into our instruction to create engaging ways for students to express their learning.
