Classroom Leaders
The 21st century requires a new set of skills for a rapidly changing global economy and digital credentials to verify these learner competencies. As we build a globally competent workforce, competency-based micro-credentials offer a way to recognize durable skills. Come learn how micro-credentials can support the attainment of skills that ensure students are ready to compete, connect, and collaborate in our interconnected world. This session will offer holistic insights on how to design competency-based micro-credentials and programming, strategies for integration into instruction and curriculum, and free resources to support effective implementation, including research, reports, and practical insights. We will also share Digital Promise’s Global Toolkit containing free tools and resources - including online professional development modules, sample projects, videos, and more - that enable educators to teach these skills by integrating them throughout the curriculum using high-quality project-based learning.
