Hackers are on the lookout to infiltrate educational networks to get information to be sold on the dark web. Most school districts do not have the staff or the resources to stay on top of these issues and many times it seems that is an unending issue. In this presentation, I will speak about my experience dealing with Ransomware, Viruses, Denial of Services, Phishing expeditions, and other types of destructive network activities from inside and outside the district. I will also mention the measures The Township of Union School District is taking to stop this type of intrusion.
