Attend FETC on Tuesday, January 14th to participate in our Computer Science Firehose event featuring speakers and practitioners building successful K-12 computer science education programs. The CS Firehose is a gathering of instructors and providers seeking to follow new trends in CS education via an unrestricted flow of presentations and data out of one huge nozzle. These 12 sessions are designed to engage educators and administrators in developing and maintaining successful computer science programs at their schools and providing resources to inspire K-12 students to take interest in computer science. Computer science is a fundamental skill for staying competitive in the future. The future of education must focus on making computer science an integral part of every child’s education to ensure that students of all genders and backgrounds have a chance to pursue these opportunities.
