IT Leaders
Is your district drowning in paper records? The Manatee County School District was. The District had a backlog of more than 7 million + documents to digitize.. “Project Digitize” converted all the student records, thousands of boxes, into a digital format and moved them online into a secure cloud-based system. Learn the benefits of, and best practices for, large-scale digitization of K-12 records from the 50,000-student School District of Manatee County. Geared toward IT teams, CTOs and district administrators, this session will delve into the “why” and “how” of digitizing K-12 records. Learn how to plan a digitization project, get buy-in from stakeholders, choose the right software and scanners, manage the day-to-day logistics of the project, and provide project training and support. Participants will gain actionable insights and strategies for developing their own digitization action plans to streamline records management, improve access to records, and free up valuable classroom and storage space.
