During this time, we'll explore the use of AI in the classroom namely around tools through TrekAI, an AI based tutor. Unlike other AI tools, TrekAI is paired with a knowledge base created by teachers which reduces error rates significantly and provides contextualized helpful information to students and teachers. Large Language Models are often used by students as "answer machines,"which bypasses critical thinking and the teaching and learning process.What if we could utilize AI though to actually form students and create critical thinkers? That's the goal and promise of utilizing AI in the classroom for the benefit of all students! We'll explore the use for AI in the educational process and discuss how AI can be paired along excellent teaching for the formation of students in the teaching and learning process.
