AI Literacy for Educators: What It Is & How to Promote It

What does it mean to be "AI literate"in 2025? What does AI literacy look like for students, educators, and parents? And how might we effectively promote AI literacy for all stakeholders in the school community? We'll explore how Northern Valley Regional High School District fostered AI literacy through targeted learning experiences, as well as through the creation of a statewide conference, the NJ AI Literacy Summit, which has successfully run (and sold out) two years in a row. Participants will leave this session with a deeper understanding of AI literacy, and with everything they need in order to organize their very own "AI Literacy Summit."
