TABLE7: Content Is Currency: Turning Student Talents Into Freelance Hustles

January 12, 2026
EXPO: LEADERSHIP ROUND TABLES: BOOTH #1645
School Leaders
In today’s digital economy, content is one of the most powerful currencies—and students are already creating it. This session explores how to turn their creative talents into freelance income opportunities. Through the Studentspreneur program, students have learned to offer services like social media management, TikTok ad creation, logo design, and brand storytelling—helping small businesses and nonprofits while building real-world skills. Learn how educators can guide students in finding their niche, pricing their work, building portfolios using Canva and AI tools like ChatGPT, and pitching their services to real clients. This session includes a practical blueprint to launch your own classroom freelance agency or integrate digital entrepreneurship into existing media or CTE programs. Attendees will receive editable client request forms, rate sheets, and a student freelancer success checklist.
